Tweet'l was built when I got tired of having to use both a URL shortening site, and my Twitter client/Twitter.com to post a link. After spending several hours searching the web for something that combined them both, I bit the bullet and began work on Tweet'l.
A week and a half later, it was 10 times bigger than planned, and ready for the world.
Tweet'l is, at it's core, a URL shotener. We've built the service for Twitter users, and focus on creating the shortest links we can, saving you valuable characters for your Twwets. While we're missing our Twitter client right now, it'll be back in 2008.
